Re: French Civil War
If you are calling Blair a disgrace well so are the vast majority that elected him and his Labour government for 3 general elections in a row. Stop believing in the rubbish you are being spoon fed by the extreme right wing owned British press. Oh and check out the numbers from the opposition benches that backed him and the Labour government over the Iraq war.
Let's not forget Dodgy Dave here, the man that made it easier for the hordes to get through Libya by removing Gaddafi.
Yes I know Blair did allow immigration to go through the roof , he was following a directive from the EU 2004 rules.
If the Labour party of today returns to what New Labour was back in 1997 , no Reds under the bed , no head cases like Corbyn & McDonnell, Abbot & Co they may well get back into government. No doubt it will kick off again and Doc will close the thread. Meanwhile PM looks as if he may have more stormy waters ahead over the late addition of India being added to the RED LIST of countries ref Covid. 20,000 people arrived from India last week.

Re: French Civil War
The directive that you are alluding to gave government's the chance to ignore or place restrictions on the numbers of immigrants for a period of time was ignored by Blair.
If my memory serves me correctly he denied and manipulated the figures to suit his own agenda.
How did you know when Blair was lying, his lips moved.

Lewis calm down ....labour in this country is about as relevant as a turd in a swimming pool .....finished .....the people have at last given up the tribal voting that has held the country back for years ......the curtain has been lifted .....even louis the fly is a capitalist.....starmer could not organise a jump up in a whorehouse and T BLIAR is still mincing about like a pox doctors clerk.....as for northern ireland if they could only follow suit and stop the ridicoulos tribal religious disputes they would join a much better world.....for there women children and themselves in general R683532

#54 Certainly agree with your comments on N Ireland sadly we have gone back 50 years by the election of Poots, Roll on May 2022 and we get the chance of voting the feckers out.
Concerning other comments about Blair & Co I will leave it to those who only read the Tory owned press.

Re: French Civil War
Lewis, for a left winger you seem to read a lot of the Tory press. After all the are more enjoyable to read than the Guardian and the drab Mirror.

Re: French Civil War
Vic, the Guardian and Independent are a decent read, how would you say the Daily Mail , Telegraph , Sun , Express stack up in their unbiased tabloids newspapers-rupert-murdoch-own_fbb99f0f48c00256.jpg just some of the papers owned by Murdoch. Even Murdoch thought Blair was a breath of fresh air , but I understand when Teflon Tony supposedly slipped Murdoch's wife one (Wendi Deng) Number 69 on the Chinese take away menu. Rupert got a bit upset and decided to start a campaign to discredit him.
