Here's a puzzle. A Jewish woman teacher abused about sixty girls in a Jewish school in Sydney, she went to Israel to escape prosecution, for five years she has been fighting deportation to stay there, with the Aussie authorities spending $millions trying to get her back to face the court in Sydney. I wonder if they would have bothered if it had been a male teacher.

#21 I never took much notice of that case Des so dont know what was said. Or what she was accused of. Was it sexual abuse or just ordinary abuse as we all received we believe in our school days. If it was sexual abuse it was alive and well in 1950 but we all knew who was what. If ordinary abuse it was very few who never received the stick or the strap and we were willing to accept as our just reward. I have seen teachers having to fight against the bullies of the class who they couldnt control , such bullies carried on their primary lifestyle well after their schooldays. Cheers JS

Des to be fair the accusers number many, so yes male or female justice must be done.
