Re: Dominion Monarch. Wedding?.
She was known as the DOMINION MANIAC in the 50s on the NZ and OZ coasts,
I remember her being banned from Wellington.

Re: Dominion Monarch. Wedding?.
This thread reminds me of being in B.A. on L&H’s Defoe in ‘65 and found myself in the mess on the Reina Del Mar docked nearby. Lots of crown and anchor being played before a fanfare of wedding music broke out and in walked the “bride” and groom. As a 16 year old on my second trip, I was blown away, given that a couple of months earlier, on my first trip, I was introduced to to the “girls” in Danny’s Bar in Antwerp. I thought “Christ, my pals back home won’t believe this” and they didn’t. what had I gotten myself into. Mind you, I was always proud to say that I lost my cherry in a brothel in Montevideo at 16, on the same trip. I only mention this here because you all had similar experiences and no shore people would believe a word of it.

Re: Dominion Monarch. Wedding?.
Duke mate, we all had adventures that would be hard to explain to many shore siders, it is only other members than can understand just what we did.
But we lived to tell the tale even if only site members believe us.

Des mate I have put most of it in writing and onto a disc.
She has read much of it and just shakes her head.

Re: Dominion Monarch. Wedding?.
Hi John,
Did the same with my 'trips to sea'.
All on a disk.
None of the family have ever read them.
No doubt after i have crossed the bar, they will.
Hope I get to hear their comments. Ha ha.

Re: Dominion Monarch. Wedding?.
Can you imagine the magnitude of the movie, what blockbuster it would be, XXX of course. Douglas Fairbanks Jnr or Errol Flynn would pale by comparison.
