MV Amarna
My father sailed this ship from December 1952 to June 1953 (3 separate voyages) His name is Bill Tuck and he was Chief Ships Cook. Anyone about who may remember him?

Re: MV Amarna
Hi Christine.
As you seem to have the ships he was on maybe you are getting them from his discharge book, if so put all the names and dates down on one post. As you will realise from your Dad's age, not many of us old boys still around but maybe enough for someone to remember him, hope so as it it is a great feeling to find an old shipmate.Did he sail out of Cardiff ? as it looks like you reside there, my first ship was out of Cardiff, the Hains boat Trevose.
Cheers Des

Re: MV Amarna
Hi, I've put his ships all over the place, I'm afraid. Yes, I have his discharge books and I still have more left ships to enter but unsure of where to put them. Dad was born in Bridgend in 1924.
I've put all his Cunard ships under the Cunard forum but I'm now doing the older ones. I realise the chances of anybody remembering him will be slim in view of his age.
There was another poster I spotted, Stuart Henderson, seems he sailed some of the same ships as Dad who recalls the name, but I haven't seen any recent posts of his. Is he still about?

Hello Christine
As you have his Discharge Books ,it would be nice if you could Tabulate all his Ships in some order and post them on the Crew List ,then just put a note on the end, this will then have all info on one Thread!
Cheers

All you have to do if you cannot find crewlist, is to type them here in ONE POST in chronological order, it will make it easier for everyone to try and help Rgds
