    Default russian answer to piracy

Hi Guys just recieved an email from a buddy. Its alink to a video showing the russian SAS arresting Somalian pirates who captured a russian tanker.None of the tanker crew were injured,The pirate vessel was a large trawler the soldiers confiscated a virtual armoury including AKA 47- Uzi machine guns and numerous handgrenades. After dumping the weapons the pirates were allowed to leave but unfortunately unaware the soldiers had booby trapped the trawler after it was a safe distance from the tanker it was blown to peices. Bye Bye pirates.

This videotape shows Russian Navy commandos on a Somalian pirate ship shortly after the pirates had captured a Russian oil tanker. The EuroUnion navy that patrols these waters would not interfere because they feared there could be casualties.

All explanations are in Russian with a single exception of when a wounded pirate says something in English. All conversations between the commandos are in Russian. If you don't understand Russian, the pictures speak for themselves.
The soldiers freed their compatriots, moved all the pirates to their own (pirate) ship, searched the pirate ship for weapons and explosives, and then they left the ship and exploded it with all remaining pirates on it.

    Default

Live by the sword, die by the sword. Through time pirates have never been tolerated, why should it be any different today?

    Default Pirates

Guess there will not be many Russian ships getting hijacked now, pity we cannot follow their example

With our political masters here in the UK and in Europe it would be against the pirates "yuman rites" to hurt them or their equipment and we taxpayers would have to pay them compensation for their lack of earning opportunities

I sailed on trawlers, it would have taken a long time to catch the fish with the guns they were allegdely using for fishing

    Keep up the good work
