Didn’t like to say that John as may of been thought of as anti something or other. Instead of a zip on the stern May of been easier with press studs.JS. Going further into apparel how about the siren suit , believe Churchill used to wear one it was said at the time, with a flap on the back.JS.

Remember getting a Levi denim jacket to go with my Levi jeans, thought I was the bee's knees, after a couple of trips it was a working jacket, ended up with red lead, white paint and grease on it
    Regards Michael

When my son was 16/17 he would want the latest fashions , Jeans, Levi, Wranglers what £14 a pop in those days.
As soon as he went to Uni he started to wise up. Soon twigged he could get 2 Tescos Jeans for a £10er. Not soft, asked him why now, answer means I have more money left over for beer.
