Re: Am I right or wrong
Come down here to Melbourne Des, warm sunny day with forecast of 32 for Saturday, but we are in a drought.
Sorry James nothing new there, very common about every ten or so years and they can go on for yerars as well.
One in the 90's went for ten.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Droughts yes but not as hot for as long John , hence Olive oil is the price it is nearly doubled here over the last 2 years. Now if they had just fouond a way to save all that water !!!!!
Think it was Ivan mentioned the EU passed a law to remove dams Europe wide.
Well at least one good thing was fish were back spawning again. I am sure the people of Spain will be delighted to hear that Salmon are back in the rivers in Finland.

Re: Am I right or wrong
Here in Melbourne we do get some very diverse weather, from extreme heat to occasional snow flurries.
We have not had a 40 degree day since February 2014.
But there was a time back in the 70's and 80's when they were common.
Back in March 2002we had four days on the trot at 40 plus.
Droughts are about every 8 to 10 years and can last for up to 3 months.
So far for November only 6 mm compared with the average of 60mm, but so far this year some 58mm more than last.

Re: Am I right or wrong
The UN put out a statement last week to describe what they call 'Climate Change"
It is any weather movement that differs from the normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well blow my socks off, what the bloody hell is normal??
Normal to us is droughts and flooding rains, so each country to their own.
But one so called environmentalist said the other day,
'The increase in volcanic activity and earth tremors has been brought about by an increase in emissions'???????????
And of course we are all expected to believe them, who are we to argue with them.
We have only traveled around the world numerous times and seen it all before!!!

I’ll bet if Noah of Noah’s Ark fame could come back and give his version of climate change over the centuries , it would cause a few red faces John.

Hi John.
When the Cop bullshit conference finishes and they open the doors that is when the weather changes to high winds and P. in Aus it starts again when Albo walks off the plane and starts talking about it.
