Hi John
I thought you would have learned by now, you don't boil spuds, you wrap them in foil and put them in the oven and bake them, keeps all their goodness in which is just under the skin. TUT Tut

Being a tightwad thinking straight away of the price of the tinfoil. Can one not bury in the ground and set the grass on fire like you used to do in Kiwi ? JS

Maybe try putting them in a tin can, I suppose you can still open them.
Then put them on top of the engine when you go about 100 klm, by then the engine heat will have them cooked.
Unfortunately that will not work with an electric car, or wheelchair.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Am I right or wrong
An ex RN guy keeps putting me right, when I say i was "on" a ship. He tells me that the correct term would be "In" a ship!
It's not highly important but, my argument is that, on a Merchant Ship, the cargo would be in the Hull (i.e. in the ship) whilst most of the accomodation would be above the deck ('on the ship').
Warships would have, I expect, all the artillery, on the deck, and above, therefore the crew would be Below the main deck (In the Ship).
Bored yet?

He must never have heard get that fender inboard or outboard going through the locks. Anything to inboard to me is inside the ships rail. Anything inside that rail is also on board. JS

Ahem, I think you'll find that the Egyptians discovered religion long before the Jews and Indians.
Furthermore, the first known monotheist religion, Atenism, arose in mid 14th century BC Egypt. It was a religion founded by pharoah Akhenaten, the father of Tutankhaten, later known as Tutanthamun following the abandonment of monotheism and the restoration of polytheism.
There is a school of thought that says that the proto Jews were in fact the Atenists fleeing religious persecution in early 13th century BC during the reign of Rameses II.
In essence, the Atenists, under the leadership of their chief priest Moses, fled Egypt because they were blamed for the pestilence in Egypt at the time.
The story of the exodus, which I believe is true, is entirely an Egyptian affair and the retelling in the bible is a corruption of what actually happened.
There is no evidence of an Abraham, historical or archaeological.
