    Default hi, looking for some info

    Hi all, anyine know how i go about tracing a possible pension from pre-pension dates when we were given pre-1978 credits?

    Thank you, but i have tried with no luck and am now wondering if the pre-78 credits may be the way to find out, but have no idea how these out.

    If you’re talking about the NHI pension then you should have received a Statement of Facts of how your pension was derived, the same applies to the MN pension. You are quite within your rights to ask for a copy of such. They are quick enough to send you letters to see that you are still alive when you get older. Just so they can stop as soon as possible and give to others mostly illegal immigrants as the coffers get low. When I retired they said I was 2 stamps short and if I wanted to increase my pension from 72 to 73.10 pounds please send them 3,750 pounds which I declined. Needless to say 22 years later it is still 72 pounds a week when it would have been 73.10 pounds today. The figures are arbitrary and approx as I remember. Cheers JS
