Red Star Line’s magnificent if somewhat overlooked BELGENLAND (1923) whose centenary is this year:

This rather enormous project was abetted by the superb collection of material held by the Museum aan de Stoom (Antwerpen), The Red Star Line Museum (Antwerpen) and Vrienden van de Red Star Line vzw as well as National Museums NI's Harland & Wolff Collection and The Mariners' Museum Eldredge Collection, all wonderfully available on-line and in the spirit of the credo “Knowledge is of no value if not shared with others.”

I think BELGENLAND was an absolutely magnificent looking ship, too! And you have plenty of photographs to judge for yourself…
