The tarantula although big is not as large as a king crab ? Hope yours weren’t of the King Crab variety , Noel ? JS
You know what they used to say don’t you ? “ once they get past the eyebrows ,your in trouble”. Only solution was to shave the eyebrows as well. Maybe why one sees so many shaved heads today and not just the fashion as said to be the reason ? Wasn’t it William Tell who shot a crab apple off his son’s head with an arrow, maybe had lost his razor. JS.

My lad started going bald in his late 20's by the time he decided to shave the lot off he had a rather bushy beard.
Don't think he was amused when I told him it looked like his head was on upside down.:rolleyes:
Hi John.
When we lived up the Blue Mountains we lived in one of the worst places for the Funnel Web, one day my wife watched a big one come crawling through the Air Conditioner, they were very slow so she whacked it with the broom, I made sure I wore gloves very time I did any gardening. I never heard of anyone in the neighborhood getting bitten, there again they wouldn't have been able to speak.

The good old Sydney Funnel Web, not heard much about them lately.
But it is possible that some of the migrants may like to eat them, very nice done in chocolate maybe!!!
Maybe they are a disappearing breed of Spider John , so expect some kind hearted campaigners to start up such “ Save our Tarantulas” or “ Funnel Webs “ , or even put it down to climate change. Cheers JS
