Vindicatrix Site
Just thought i would post this Link for the Vindicatrix , possibly may be of some help, and interest to many who went there Years ago.
I know that at times there are quite a few questions on if the site still is in force!
Cheers

Re: Vindicatrix Site
I do not recall making that comment but it is the sort of thing I would say.
The story by our Des regarding lifeboats brings back to mind an incident on the bloody river there.
As catering we had to do some lifeboat drill which included rowing the boat on the water.
We had one lad, maybe not the full quid who was annoying the officer in the boat with us.
He made one last mad comment which pushed the officer to the brink.
He yelled at the lad, 'get out of this boat'
Thankfully the water where we were was not deep and we managed to get him back on board, he took the comment literally, not sure how the officer got on explaining this to the skipper.
