Hey Frank.
Long story, short version. Emigrated in 58 to Ontario, Canada, stayed three years then emigrated to the states (California) . Moved up from Banquet Cook at the Old Ambassador Hotel in L.A. to Executive Chef in various properties. Food and Bev. Director of a large Airport Hotel in L.A. . Company promoted me again to Maniging Director Middle East stationed in Tehran for three years, comes the revolution and scurried back to Home Office in New York. Ended up the President and C.E.O. did that for 7 yrs. pulledthe plug and retired. Wife and I spent 13yrs traveling, 6mths in Oz, 2home and 4 bumming around in Europe, the oldest backpackers. Wife made me promise when we settled down it would be in the states. So we spent a year looking and thought South Carolina the best, weather is great, mild winters. We live a 2 hour drive from Charleston.
Sorry you asked? What's your story?
Best wishes Rod.
