Re: Garage sale find - Northern Star
Sounds a lot like the Juniper Berry in Southampton at times Brian! Recall one time when me and my late Bro were in the middle of an all out Free for all! Some Biff and Bash went on there! LOL
Cheers

Hi Brain.
I was on her in June 57, but I never went down to the Pig, honest.

Re: Garage sale find - Northern Star
Bit later than you Des, my mates and I used to make a barricade up in one corner, get some beer and wait for the entertainment.
There was a steward named McIllvenny that definitely had homicidal tendencies, he was something else.
All together a dreadful ship, getting toast and hot water for tea and coffee at breakfast was a total joke.
How the punters put up with it is a mystery to me.
Brian.

Re: Garage sale find - Northern Star
Hi Brian.
Had a good steward on my table, only four of us, with one a woman only surfacing twice the whole time. My future wife was not so lucky she and her three siblings had an Irish bloke who I 'm sure was straight out of the Vindi, probably knowing there would be no tips there.
