Need help regarding Greaser/Donkeyman Thomas Joseph Fieldhouse dis number: 1133611
Hello,
I am doing family history regarding my late uncle, Thomas Joseph Fieldhouse who was a greaser/Donkeyman from mid 1920s to 1955.
Date of birth 9/8/1902
Place of birth: London
Residence 16 Sudbrook Terrace, Portskewett , Monmouthshire
service number?/ discharge number: 1133611
So far I have(from Nat Archives)managed to get the(part?)contents of his seaman's pouch but there is no ID card with his description or photo.
Can anyone offer any suggestions or help?
Thanks,
Kevin

Hello Kevin
You will need to obtain his CRS10 which will have all his Seamans Records at the NA
When applying dont forget to include his Seamans Pouch Ref Number
Also give as much other info as you can.
Cheers

John Thomas Fieldhouse who died at sea after the SS Avelona Star was sunk was the father of Thomas Joseph Septer Fieldhouse.
In some places Thomas Joseph Fieldhouse is listed under his full name of Thomas Joseph Septer Fieldhouse but yes, he is the person in question.

Hi,
Thanks but have already done that and what I got back was next to nothing.
His Seaman's records only have his health info and when he signed on and stuff, names of ships and things.
What I really needed was his ID info including a photo.
