I’ve had both mine done, but still have to wear glasses if I want to see where I’m going , must be awful weak beer because I can’t smell it like Cappy says. I just think of it as putting 2 monocles on , its one up on Cappys. JS

hi john sabourn #19
good morning,
as for both the song and perry como i remember well, my overriding memories growing up where driven by the music i heard at home, which where mainly american imports, from my elder brothers trips to the states.as a matter of fact the sixties where my teens, but given a choice my passion would be for the fifties.
as for what watch you where on, well you had already told me to figure it out, and it would have been too easy to state the fact that six bells was the red herring, and i thought you being a mischievious piss-taker, then i should honour you with a decent answer, that being at the time of your missive 03-30 i assumed you had taken the first watch which is the middle watch,

hi des taff jenkins #20
good morning,
i had quite recently been diagnosed with the start of the cataract, and i just wondered if possible it could have been induced by me trying to teach myself how to take a fix, as i never progressed beyond a sun sight and i was struck by the fact that i could have been the person responsible for any damage that may befall me in the near future.
but thanks for your contact.
