I do think the EU is now coming to understand that no deal is not good for them.
Talks I see are to continue.

In my opinion looking in from afar I think EU has more to lose if no deal is formed.

There will be a free trade agreement between UK and Oz, similar to that of pre EU.

But beware if you begin to take lamb from NZ, you will only get the ugly ones.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

The former Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull says his country’s trade deal with the EU is ‘not one Britain would want, we are told this would just mean, no deal.

Not far from were I live there is a Spanish galleon from the Armada years, maybe I could take up diving for Spanish gold lol. I do miss my bikes though. Even before I had the operation my family were pestering me to stop riding. I suppose after 50+ years it was time to call it a day.

I remember the good old days when we took a full cargo of Aus tinned fruit to the UK, with the after end of No five hatch just shy of our mess room, we had tinned fruit all the way home then a box to take home. Now some of our factories that tin fruit are struggling, they are battling South African imports. As Victoria said if we all in Aus bought Aus stuff we would be; as the Trump keeps saying; great again.

And welcome back Lewis, hope that your leg can be over again soon.

Reckon good practice for his leg in the absence of anything else would be for Lewis to invest in a horse and practice getting off and on it. Cocking his leg they used to call it. JS
Would be a far cry from the horse power of his motor bikes going back to one horse power , but may be beneficial on keeping his hand in .JS

Lewis your welcome return to the site must arouse some memories to the old days. Don’t let it get to you , soldier on . Persevere and look neither to right or left. Cappys donkey died 3 Xmas”s ago and they had it for mock turkey on Xmas day with an Apple dressing. Cheers JS

    HI Victoria.
Saw them advertising the Spirit of Tasmania on TV, so very good to see. One thing I was thinking she must be getting on a bit now; are there any signs that she will be replaced?
