Re: Where didn’t you go ?
Worst ever; Port Sudan, to pick up raw hides, which we could smell two miles out; waiting for the pilot, never thought it could get worse until the Somali's came aboard, left their shields and spears stacked against the shed, the two days there we kept the salt water hoses running on the decks, one, to stop the smell where the hides dripped, the other to cool the decks off,I remember it as the it was the hottest place I have ever been to.

Mumbai as it is now or rather Bombay as it was.
There at the airport in mid 80's, a sight o behold.
Took one look at the 'toilet' and decided I would rather P15ss my self first than go in there.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Where didn’t you go ?
Hi Matt.
One of my regrets missing out on the MANZ run, had to pay off the Waimate in Wellington to go to hospital.
