    Default The way we were.

Have you any photos of what you were doing at sea, in the old days, like the 50s and 60s. etc.??

    Brian

1 me greasing the stays on Dunedin Star 1957
2 me on the Top Mast, my recently deceased mate Ted on the table, Good Hope Castle 1959
3 me doing the stays, Manchester Merchant 1959
4 loading the logs in an un named island in the Spice Islands, 1960
5 Me rigging a sling on the port anchor to be taken ashore, 1990, I was Master, no one would go over the wall in case they got their feet wet, I had to show them how to do it. But I did enjoy it, There were no real Sailors left by then,.

The photos are coming out too small ,. WHY.????????

    Nice t have Memories Capt
Unfortunately as I have said before I lost many Pics when loosing all my Seamans Papers (Books ) RAF stuff as well, and oh those memorable Pics I had!
I was quite devastated at that time and am still miffed at the loss due to Police negligence in Birmingham in the 1960's
    Cheers
But the Memories are still very vivid in my mind!
