Pilot Transfer
Do you think that the Captain and Deck Officer thought they had got it right for the pilot to board.
This happened in Sines, S. Portugal, been there a couple of times and always a heavy swell running, we used to take the pilot once inside the breakwater but even alongside there would be a ground swell running.
