John I've popped into the Pen&Wig different Friday afternoons on the off chance he may be having a pint there but no sign of him,maybe since Ginger passed away he does'nt bother.

I was at sea school in 1957 HMS Worcester I was a boy aboard her in fact I was one of half a dozen ,there was a lad from Liverpool there his nick name was Gilly after a few weeks he skinned out I have often wondered what happened to him this thread has bought him back to my mind nigh on 60,s years ago now I can still see him in my mind's eye .
