    Default I.T.F. and Dockers

Previous posts have talked about crew lashing cargo. Now the ITF (International Transport Federation) is up in arms about crew lashing containers on feeder ships around Europe. Apparently it is often written into C/P's that crew lash and unlash the containers on feeder vessels. Wonder if they get paid extra for that work? I know in C.P. (Canmar) the crew did the lashing/unlashing prior to and after departure from Quebec (and later Montreal) and were paid a tidy sum for the work, cash in hand.
