    Default RRS Discovery.

I would've liked to have seen her doing her 360 degrees rotation in the middle of the Mersey with it's "state of the art" thrusters.
    Regards.

Hi Ron, Thanks for that it has brought back some happy memories, I went on board Captain Scott's Discovery when I was
about nine years old after the war. She was moored at the Embankment London, I can remember going down a few steps
into a large cabin where there was a bare wooden table that they ate their meals on, as a kid it was quite an adventure, I
wouldn't mind seeing her again just for the nostalgia. All the best, John Collier.

She is open to the public.
They have fitted it all out as it was on the ice trips.
It's docked across from Railway station where there is a museum to Scott and the brave crew

John #3 that brings back a memory of a school boy being taken on a trip to see the ship. It was a long time ago but can still recall it.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
