Aurora Australis
According to the Brisbane times the Australian Ice Breaker ship Aurora Australis has ran aground at Horeshoe Harbour, Mawson, all staff and crew are safe and no injuries reported.
The ship is taking on water, but there has been oil spills. The Aurora Australis is 27 years old.
The Australians are looking to the Chinese or Americans to rescue the stranded staff.
The replacement ship is due for delivery in 2019 and is expected to cost $1b Australian dollars over the ships lifetime.
