Re: Tea Imports.
Whatta Teatime story line!! Not my cuppa now, think you all know my preferences.
To add my ancient tea story.... After discharging war materiel in Basra for the Soviets in 1943, we sailed for Karachi, Bombay, Calcutta and Madras to take on nothing but tea, tea, tea, maybe some Jute, then homeward for Blighty. The voyage lasted 10 months, grub lousy, but tea was the best. Regards, Eric

#21. Eric gather you don't go in for all these speciality teas that the keep fit and healthy people of today go in for, the likes of Jasmine and the other 101 different types, the smell puts me off. Cheers JS

#15 Marian a few years ago a pal of mines son was having a bachelor night so hired a bus for about 30 of us, I was I think the oldest there. On doing the rounds of the nightclubs with stripper on the bus and all mod cons, I was surprised in the clubs to see everyone drinking out of the bottle neck of their drinks, so asked this young Lady why, she said it was to stop people putting this so called dating drug in their drink. I continued drinking out of a glass and watching to see what female attempted to spike my drink. It was wishful thinking as still woke up next morning with only a bad head to show for it. Cheers John S

Re: Tea Imports.
I am at the point now where even the smell of tea turns my stomach, and the smell of dry tea in the supermarkets means I never go down that aisle.

#25, Louis I've tried F&M Irish breakfast tea but too strong for me. "Make Mine a Builders" is stocked by the usual supermarkets and has received good reviews
