We were built like racing snakes during the war years, the Ration Book diet was the healthiest ever,, Never ever saw a fat person or kid, now they are all fat and no one had cars so we all walked or ran everywhere.
I had to walk three miles to school and three miles back every day until Herman Goering decided enough was enough, he had the School bombed for me so I was transferred to a school nearer home.
A lot of the time we never went to school , playing hooky, no one missed us, we were out looking for bomb souvenirs.
shrapnel, bullets , bomb cases and tail fins, nearly got a german plane wing when the plane crashed through a house in the next street, killing the lady inside and the pilot. me and our gang were dragging it off the wreckage when the police, Air raid wardens and Firemen turned up and chased us off.
    Happy days for kids.

Ivan when I was a kid I didn't consider myself to be fat maybe just a bit more plumper than the rest of the class, maybe this was caused by a year of inactivity due to me being in hostpital for three months suffering from rheumatic fever and not able todo much exercise for twelve months. What you have just brought to mind is the teacher always refered to me as fat boy,be quite fat boy come out here fat boy etc.It was water off a ducks back to me I just accepted it and thought nothing of it ,imagine what would happen to that teacher today, and I would probably need counselling the worlds gone mad.

That should be stopped. It costs over £10,000 to the NHS for one of those operations. they do a few thousand a year costing NHS Millions of much needed Pounds., just so that some lazy, fat, greedy, berstered, who cannot stop eating can have an easy time trying to lose weight.
There were No Fat people in Belson, no fat people during WW2 on Rations. No fat people in the 30s. No Fat Sailors on some of the Bad Feeders I have sailed on.
Stop them unless they pay privately.
My Doctor told me, The only way to lose weight is to put a plaster over my mouth.

Brian it costs less than £3000 and works out cheaper than looking after these people long term.

I must have been mistaken for another type of Op. but even so , one thousand of those equals 3,000,000 pounds. just because people are too greedy to diet themselves. They take up hospital beds, Doctors and nursing Staff time when they could be treating more life saving operations, increasing waiting lists.

    Cheers

I was in a shopping centre today looking at all the obese eating food like there was no tommorrow. But then I thought about it, why they are so fat.
As we mature the skin looses some of it's elasticity and we find we have some extra hanging around the body. The body compensates for thgis by turning food into F uture A dative T racings and this takes up the space left by the stretching skin. But beware, should the waist band of your trousers come into contact with any part of the skin effected by this filling out terrible things happen. When you put them away for the winter in a dark wardrobe the effect parts begin to shrink. When in the spring you take them out you will find the waisetband has shrunk by one to two inches.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
