Your comment came back to me the other day "Incidentally it looks like the person he is alleged to have assaulted was Temporary Sub Lieut Leo Anthony Clegg D.S.C. RNVR who was decorated with the D.S.C. during the St Nazaire Raid in 1942, he served on ML307."
It seems that Sub Lt Clegg was born about a mile and a half away from Dad. It is a very small world!
