Confirmation of discovery in the Artic
It has been confirmed that the wreck recently discovered beneath the Artic ice is that of the explorers Sir John Franklin's vessel, the Erebus.

Thanks for that, I had read that Wikipedia entry earlier. In another post on this site it says that the condition of the wreck is in an amazingly good state having been submerged in the icy waters that has slowed the rotting of the timbers.
