    #8... ME ME ME I'm 17. Went to sea in 2013, and after listening to all you old fellahs thought it was going to be the answer to my dreams. I blame that bloke Cappy for raising my hopes, found it the most boring and wasted life, so resigned and went back to my paper round this year. A pox on you Cappy. They even reduced my paper round wages whilst gone. JS

    I did my first trip to sea in November 1940 age 14 years 7months my last trip was in March 1948
