Seasonal
As in the early spring one sees the leaves all new and small first apper to herald in the coming season, with hope for better times, for new birth blossom strong. To hear the sound that for so many is the sign that Spring is truly here, the Coockoo makes a noise that so many yearn to hear.
Today a sound I heard that surely tells the world of wonderous times to come, a time of joy and goodwill, a time of merriment and hope for all.
Today withing a shopping centre the sounds one listens for just as the man who claims to hear the first Coockoo, today the first Christmas
carol.
AND WE HAVE NOT HAD BONFIRE NIGHT YET.!!!!!!

Re: Seasonal
Don't know about the first blossoms John, but am fed up with pulling weeds out all year round. If had my way would be concrete. However the women all seem to like gardens. Cheers John Sabourn

Re: Seasonal
John, know what you mean. Here in Helenburgh they are putting up the Christmas lights, for the last month shops have been displaying christmas cards, gift wrap etc and even crackers. We have not been away on holiday yet and one gets all this rubbish thrown in ones face. Off to New York on the 20th Nov for two weeks so will celebrate thanksgiving there with family and will think about Christmas when we arrive home.
Regards
John C.

Tch tch Brian they only make what the dummies feel they must buy for that appalling part of the year where commercialism is at its worst. Sadly though in the main they, those punters can not afford to waste their money on such crap never the less they do-will.
Just spent six weeks in Bilghty on biz & what a dispiriting revelation it was. Where we initially stayed in London for the first week there were three knifing murders close by, one purportedly an undercover police officer outside a bar. London a city I love was quite sad with st people everywhere. Costs for everything insane we wondered how the average Londoner lives with them, the answer is they don't they soldier on dispirited just puting up with it. Transport just amazing cost, basic food staples crazy, a beer insane. One bar in Camden Town in a slightly trendy & I mean slightly was charged for a 1/2 pint 4.60! Restaurants were just crazy with their prices, hotels insane. Price gauge of the trip TGV Paris to London 70 Euro, London to Paris yesterday 169 stg SERIOUSLY who is kidding who? Flight taxes for 2 biz class London to HK-Sydney one way.....726 stg. Paris exact same same trip 231 Euros! Brian who the f... is kidding who how can that be, just nuts! Shall send a PE later with my views as do not wish depress anyone (:
