Cyclone roaring up through the Bay of Bengal

As we speak a massive cyclone is heading north in the Bay of Bengal off the east coast of India and is heading straight for the Calcutta East Bangladash low lying estuary area. If the storm makes land fall there the loss of life could be huge, it's all low lying land in that area as many of you would know.

Watching the weather radar and it looks as if it is heading straight for Calcutta.

The white outer spiral of the storm is now over Calcutta.

Hi Frank.
It was on the news out here. In today's paper showed a little girl jumping around on some small boats on the beach in the Bay, hope to god her parents are awake up to what's coming, though having been there years ago there's no high ground for miles.
