Ref. Sleep Abpnia. Have just come back for checking after the first week. Down from 67 times an hour to 17. 67 was considered extremely critical and 17 is considered moderate. When I was asked if I still snored I said I don't know as have been relegated to another bedroom, as the wife refuses to sleep with a spaceman. I have another contraption now to hold the jaw in place to stop the escape of air. There must be others on site who have this sleep problem, did anyone get rid of it completely, or is this another aid to add to all the rest for ever. Cheers John Sabourn

John there is light at the end of the tunnel and it is not a train coming the other way. Friend of mine and her husband both had your complaint so they slept in the same room. After much treatment including some drugs they are now both free of the space helmet.

john S, # 41, Apparently there are three types of sleep apnoea. My husband's was caused by excess weight. Once he lost that, [2 stone] everything was fine. I often counted how long he held his breath, the max I let him go to was 32 second's then panicked and gave him a dunt! Not only is the noise horrendous but quite frightening for the partner who thinks you may pop your clogs at any time!

Anyone who worked with electric chipping hammers etc, is eligible to claim for vibration white finger, and probably for loss off hearing as well. some solicitors advertise in the main papers every so often about this, may be worth checking it out
