Default Astrid bell and wheel weren’t stolen…

So, it turns out the Astrid bell and wheel weren’t stolen…

A group of divers have recovered the items from the wreck, along with the ship’s compass.

    HI Richard.
My brother did the last voyage of the Pamir around the Horn from NZ in 1949. He joined her in Lyttleton
They loaded Grain in Victoria for Penarth in Wales, funny enough only a few miles from where we lived.
    Hi Trader.
I knew a John Curphy on the NZ coast don't know it it is the same one .
    Cheers DEs
