Ferry with 500 passengers on board strikes Quay at Harwich, Essex, holed below waterline
No reported casualties.

Looking at the pics it appears she was travelling too fast. Harwich Parkstone Quay can be a bit of a bitch dependent upon weather/tide.
Doubt that is a barge she's hit, more likely the ramp for getting the vehicles on and off through the bow doors.
