Just been watching Captain Bligh in Mutiny on the Bounty on channel 5 in the UK, Marlon Brando and Trevor Howard,
Superb shots of Tahiti and Moorea, recognised all the sights. I`ll be there in four weeksm
My Tahitian friend there is Manuraii Young, a decendent of Mr Midshipman Edward Young who took a Tahitian bride to Pitcairns Island.

Hi Richard,
Ia orana e te mau eaha to orua matahiti api
.
I have been going back to Tahiti, Papeete, for the last ten years or so and have not seen Quins, it may have been there in the 50s and 60s but Papa has all changed now, It is one Big City with big highways in out and around the place. hard to cross the road now without being hit.
The nearest Bar to the Quay is Le Brassierre, just across the road.
My friends there always take us out into the country away from Papa, down to Tahiti Iti or Matavai Bay.
Cheers
Brian.
