When you read the report on the vexed matter of medals- not just the Arctic but many more Campaigns eg Suez, Aden Korea .........the list goes on, it becomes apparent that there are a lot of things to consider.
However, I am very hopeful that THIS time the Arctic Convoy Veterans will get their just rewards and a medal will be forthcoming by the end of the year.
Caroline Dinenage MP has been at the forefront of this campaign and if you google her website you will be kept up to date with the latest developments.
