Trying to remember all the different names given to the various coins pre decimalisation, zap for a sixpence is the only one I can bring to mind, but sure there were lots of others...............

Was always a tanner in my neck of the woods. A bob and 2 bob, half a crown, 10 bob a quid and a Guinea. Lower down was the farthing, halfpenny and penny. Cheers John Sabourn
