I remember applying for my AB's cert, at Corn Hill, L-Pool. The guy behind the desk handed me a Form and said, Fill in all ships, dates of engagement and dates of discharge but dont bother with vessels that have H.T. we dont count them. Now I had done quite a bit of time on the coast and to be told by this pen-pusher, it didn't count was a shock.
As it happens,I had enough Deep Sea time in,so no probs. Anyone else come across this ?
