Congratulations Billy
Well done and many congratulations, Billy. So very well deserved.
I am grateful to you for putting me in touch with one of my Dad's Radio Officers - Robbie Roberts ( now deseased) Through him I learnt so much about the Rescue Ships and I am really blessed to still be in touch with a rescued Radio Oficer ~ Robert Cobb.
Thank you again.

Been off line for a while and am just about back up to full steam (fingers crossed)
Just to say a belated thanks to those who attended the Merchant Navy Medal 2011 presentation at Trinity House on the 28th November, for making myself, Gill and my invited guests welcome on the day. It was a privilege to meet the other recipients and I was quite humbled to have been part of it. Special thanks to Tim Brant for lunch, although I was too nervous to eat much.
Would also like to thank those for the emails and PM

I meant a mention in the congratulations NOT a mention for the medal.
