Re union
If I can get there Brian I'll have to renew my membership. If all goes well I'll see you there so keep us a drop of your brothers ale. See if i can get the boy to drive me up and back so I can use my hand for what it was made for, grasping a pint glass.

I will be there on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with my Cask of real ale from the Aspinalls Cambrinous Craft Brewery on Lord Derby`s Estate near Liverpool , made very famous in the "Potty story of Garston Mud Journals." Read the story and then taste it. I will be in the far right Corner looking from the club.
Cheers
Brian.
ps You are looking very smart in your new T Shirt Brian.

Meet up
Hey up Brian. Have to postpone my pint and our meeting. My son in law has his 40th birthday on Sat., and I've been told in no uncertain terms and basic English that I will be there as all the family from Wales are coming. This was even more reason for me to do a runner, but seeing that 'Taffy' has looked after me these past 50 odd years I will not let her down. Have a good one mate and who knows there's always next year.

Vindi Boys Reunion 2011.
No disrespect here boys just a passing comment.I was having a pint with my mate yesterday,he went to the Vindi in 1949,I was telling him about the reunion. He could not believe why anybody would want to go anywhere near the place from his memories of his time there.Ah well takes all kinds I suppose.I must admit I have some bad memories of Gravesend but I was glad to go back and look the old place over many years later, plus the fact it's something I'm glad I did,I also have fond memories of my time there.
Regards
Jim.B.

We usually have around 800 men every year, the best year was around 2004 we had 1500 turned up.
That is a Reunion.

I guess I was just plain lucky in April/May 1955 when I was at the Vindi. A great bunch of blokes in my hut, (catering) made a regular laugh of most of time spent there. I have a list of all the lads that were in that hut with me, kindly supplied by Ron Nelson who like me came to Australia in 1963.
I have not been to the UK since 1994 and had I known of the reunion I would have been there with bells on. I hope you all have a great time and I hope to be there one day.
Cheers to one and all Neil.
