Went pear shaped !
WAS ON A TRIP WITH GSNC TO ITALY AND SICILY, SIGNED ON GREASER IN ENGINE ROOM, WE HAD TO LIGHT GALLEY STOVE FOR THE COOK, NIGHT WATCHES IN PORT WERE BORING, SO I FOUND A JOB TO PASS THE TIME, I NOTICED THE POTS AND PANS IN THE GALLEY WERE BLACK, LOOKED BAD, SO I DECIDED TO CLEAN THEM, KEEP THE COOK HAPPY, SO NEXT NIGHT I CLEANED THEM DOWN BELOW WITH A CHEMICAL USED TO REMOVE CARBON, THEY CAME UP LOOKING NEW, INSTEAD OF BEING PLEASED THE COOK DONE HIS NUT, GAVE ME A ROLLIKING, SAID I MADE MORE WORK FOR HIM TO KEEP CLEAN, OH WELL U CANT PLEASE THEM ALL, ! I KEPT A LOW PROFILE AROUND THE GALLEY AFTER THAT.
