horror
i have just read all the posts from number one to the end.and the following places have been mentioned, for a flag.
glasgow
belfast
plymouth
barry
liverpool
london.
i am afraid this list horrified me, to think that i might have to supply six flags or more.
on thinking about it,i came up with the following solution.
the person who can get a flag on display,in a specific location, buys his own flag i obtained mine from
Buy Flag, Buy Flags, Custom flag, Bunting, Flag, Flags and a sharpie marker pen.the pen i got at w.h.smith
then you request from me the required flags list,i.e.
list one
list two
list three
all the above lists have approx 500 names.
i can then e-mail you the list that you asked for.
i would like your comments on the above please.
regards
mike

Think you maybe thinking of the Horse and Groom, now I am told a car park. Such is the price of progress.

Juniper Berry
Hi Happy Daze John,
Think you are right- Horse & Groom sounds like it. Of course pub crawls were the order of the day back then for me at least. Always like Southampton, though most of my sailing was out of london or Liverpool.

Calling Southampton !! Pictures! ?????? George !??
Well Lads
As of now i still have not received any Pics of those 2 Flags both Mike and myself had sent to the JB!
I have on several occasions Emailed Mick and Anita asking for a few Pics, but for the one only that i had posted (Mikes one) there have been no futher replies
The last Email i got Anita said that they were away that Weekend and she would get some Pics done after that!
Up till now nothing!
So i am now asking first of all George in Soton,if he could possibly get time to go to the JB ,and see what is happening possibly also take a Pic or two for the site!
If there are any others that live close by it would also be much appreciated if someone else could also get to the JB and get some Pics for us all here on site!
Thanks in advance,i hope someone will do this for us ALL!
All the best to you all
Cheers
