Hello John....I, too, would like to add my own 'well' wishes to those of our shipmates.
....Last night I spoke on the phone to a much loved sister-in-law (sister of my wife) who resides in England. About four weeks ago she too was diagnosed with the same condition as your own dear daughter. Ten days ago, she underwent a mastectomy and yesterday was informed that she must now undergo both radio-therapy and chemotherapy. It has all seemed so sudden. We are in a state of shock, with a strange feeling of 'numbness' and sense of helplessness, so we know something of what you and your dear wife are having to endure at this time. As parents it must be of even greater concern.
....John, I do hope that your dear daughter will soon be able to allay some of her fears and ease the distress she is feeling at the moment. I'm sure that with the continued love and support from her Mum and Dad she will get safely through this difficult time to a happy and positive outcome. Please know my sincere thoughts are with you all...........Roger.

    Greetings Rodney/Jeanmarie,
Many thanks for your kind words and prayers it is greatly appreciated you having been through this will fully understand how we are feeling.
Catherine has just had her fifth session today (one more to go) and we have talked to her about one hour ago and she seems in good spirits unfortunatley she lives in Nottingham so we cant be with all the time but fortunatley she has a very good husband and a lot of good freinds & neighbours so she is in good hands.
    Once again many thanks.
Best wishes to you and all your family especially health wise.

    Greetings Roger,
We fully understand how you feel so many thanks for your kind words we wish your sister-in-law all the very best may she soon be back to normal we will say a special prayer for her
There are a lot of bad people in this world but thank God there are more good than bad but it is nice to know that there a lot of caring and understaning people out there like your good self and the other members who have sent their good wishes, it is all greatly appreciated.
The ironical thing is that Catherine has run numorous half marathons would you beleive for cancer research and the poor lass has now got it herself.
Once again thank you all for your kind words & good wishes.
    Best wishes,
