'The eddie duchin story'
Hi Fred,
Have the same LP of which you speak........Carmen Cavallaro....some pianist ay ? How well, his tinkling piano provided the back-drop to this film? Skyscrapers, busy streets, and young lovers strolling through Central Park, he painted a wonderful picture of the glitzy glamour of the 1920-30 showbiz scene in New York. Shame that Miss Novak (in the part of Duchin's first wife) had to exit the film sooner than one might have hoped. The Australian actress, Victoria Shaw, (the second wife) was an O.K. substitute for Kim I suppose...., but... er... no, not really.
Just in case you need a reminder (which I'm sure you don't) here's a trailer from the film.

Hi Fred,
Thought I might just add this one. . Although not played in it's entirety in the film it is nevertheless my favourite track.
