crossed the bar
ive just been told that john costa chief steward with denholms crossed the bar a couple of weeks ago i sailed with john a number of times great guy to sail with may he rest in peace kev.

Well although i didnt know him at all,its always sad to hear of someones passing,so may i take this oppurtunity to Convey my sincere condolences to his Family.
You as an ex friend would know as you say that he was a great Guy,so to you too Kev heartfelt sorrow!

I sailed with John Costa as Ch/Stwd on my very first ship the Gtv Eurofreighter he was a really good boss and as i remember a very fair man his wife was also nice she used to visit when the ship docked in Greenock
Sad to read that he had passed on
