Bad Language.. after stepping off a ship and going home on leave I invariably seldom spoke for the first week or so in the fear of cuss words coming out in front of wife and children. 0n the Occassion of one slipping out involuntary , received the usual adominations , followed by the usual final sentence bad language shows lack of vocabulary. It was mainly force of habit with most seafarers. The most breed of down to earth acceptable women to use themselves were fishermen’s wives who a lot accepted it as normal . They spoke the same language as their spouses the ones that I met. JS

Our masks came off at midnight last night as well as some restrictions . Went shopping with the wife this morning , what a bore , even worse than usual as had to have a shave beforehand , reminded me of that old police tv drama .. No Hiding Place...One must think of the physcological repercussions may have with the after effects of having to show ones face to the world again full face . Fourth jab on Monday and going to have to face it face full on. JS

Here in Victoria no longer compulsory if you do not want apart from in hospitals, doctors rooms, aged care facilities and public transport.
But like many we still wear them in shopping centers, large crowds spread it very easily.

    Hi John.
I feel for the people of West Aus, after all the hard work put in by your Premier, you now have as much Covid as the rest of us with a similar death rate. I still wear a mask when out shopping and the RSL, feel more comfortable when I hear someone coughing their lungs out, even if they are only a smoker.

John I think the neuf bit should have something in front of it.

But after wearing masks for so long it is now quite easy to do so.
Most of the Asian countries always wear them and long before the virus hit.
Out in the open we do not bother, but any large closed area such as a shopping center, definitely.

I”ll have a quick look in my wine rack and see if I have any . The last case is 50% Egdum Kalas , think the mice must have been at it. The author of #658 believe he doesn’t look at the labels . JS
