Medical history
If you want to scare yourself read your own and keep yourself up to date. Due to a recent back scan I now have a history of myself.
Past history.
Skin tags
URTI
Sleep apnoea
Hypercholeresterolaemia
Hypertension
Lymphadenitis
Seborrnoeic Dermatitis
Ml
Hypothyroid
Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2
Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease.
Anyone for tennis ? Just wait till I take my daily dose of 12 tablets.
Won’t bore you with the actual spinal scan.
Might put you off your breakfast .

Re: Medical history
#2 . One consolation here though is bingo night tonight with dinner supplied , I go for the beer only and try to get as much as possible before the wife tries to remember how many I’ve had. Beats all the other pain killers. Tomorrow night is the ancient mariners night those still surviving and tarpaulin muster time again. Which means finishing up with wine of your choice Red or White. It’s a hard hard life. The chairman of this group and old Vindi boy in his 90s is always threatened by the management of having his tap stopped as he keeps on falling over , but we hold him up and swear he is ok , and like a true Brit he carries on to the bitter end. He has a carer to wheel him home , a female one I might add. Cheers JS.

Re: Medical history
I had a heart attack when I was 60, afterwards the specialist gave me two tablets to take, one made me have hallucinations, I would wake up at night and there would be these ogres by the bed and i would jump out and start punching, when I told him, he stopped that pill, I wasn't worried as I always got the better of the weirdos, but it frightened my wife. since then the only pill I take every morning is Tensig supposed to be for the heart, plus I always take a vitamin C seems to work. Example today I washed the dishes, peeled a load of apples, made apple crumble, then vacuumed, then flaked out on the bed, good morning alround .

Re: Medical history
You would have made someone a good wife Des. I was supposed to have had one when I was about 67 but according to the camera stuck up the Groin the blockage had been surmounted by the blood finding another path. So no surgery only a close watch and two tablets. Since then the other 10 tablets are for various other ailments , and I always led a quite sedate life as I always tell the misses.Something has to kill you , in my case it’s going to be shortage of breath. The camera up the groin of course being removed as too annoying when going to the toilet.
Cheers JS

Re: Medical history
Also had a scare in if i recall 1998 with being sent to Hospital , and having that small Camera up the Groin, not sore but a bit unpleasant , and of course the Sand Bag on the Groin after it was removed.
But even though i had a Blockage of some 65% then they decided to Operate and Inserted a Stainless Steel Stent after a few days was taken home with loads of silly Tablets LOL
But then as all know in 2019 on my Birthday had another Big Bang! And yes that was nearly the end but my time was not ready!
After a Six Bypass i managed to get myself up and about after a very short time , even my Specialist was amazed! But of course now on all these Tabs ! Hate them but it is a necessity!
And by the way i did not have that Camera up the Groin this time , actually had it through a large Vein (Or Atery? ) on my right Wrist, really painless procedure so clever nowdays!
So all's well that ends well hey!
Cheers
Added Sorry Lads i had t Edit this as i did have a small Op they put a Stent in then. I have altered my initial Text ( So any confusion i had said they decided Not to Operate silly me old age is catchy) LOL

Re: Medical history
I had a normal in the arm Angiogram a couple of years ago, all clear.
For all of my drinking, smoking when much younger, going out with women and a few other things my GP tells me I am still fit.
But I must be very thankful after reading what some of you go through each day.
I need no regular medication nor does the wife apart from one for her non existant Thyroid.
We are both very lucky and health and for that extremely grateful.
30 push ups before breakfast may be what does it.

Re: Medical history
Not the one from Del Monicos that was the problem.
It was a lady by the name of Gwen in Durban.
There I was a young lad of just under seventeen having a quiet pint in the Criterion when the barman told me there was a lady in the bar wanted to know if she could take me to bed, obviously she did not have a teddy bear.
Told by mum never refuse the request of a lady.
So she took me home and raped me. not once but twice.
What is a young man to do under such circumstances, lie back and think of England.
