Re: Question
My wife's suggestion is that the UK should plant hundreds of gum trees, The gum s send out a kind of disinfectant, in the Blue Mountains you can see the gum vapor in the air, something they don't get much of in the Cities where all the virus is. It would knock hell out of the virus.

Re: Question
You should have been here during our 12 week lock down and heard the daily diatribe from our premier Dictator Dan.
As for the media, they could not lie straight in bed and the truth to them is like a fairy story.
Our Always Biased Broadcaster, similar to your Biased Broadcasting Company is also more trouble than ity is worth when it comes to the truth.
Most of my information about UK and EU comes from family members in UK hospitals.
But the other night we saw some footage of British hospitals and the nursing staff there.
It was gut wrenching to see how they are going about the task in hand, working all the hours there are, overtired but they keep going, true angels of mercy and worth their weight in gold.
True hero's not like the so called ones that kick a footy.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Question
Well now the latest News here in Aussie, and many are not happy at all, is that the Vaccine's that have been ordered from Overseas, have now been put on Hold , as apparently they are distributing all of the Vaccine's to Countries in most need ( Can understand that) however that leaves many here at High risk , especially the Elderly.
We are at this stage very fortunate though, that we have had a clear Run now Statewide for 14 days without a single case, so that does help.
But who can say how long this will last (We here all pray that it stays that way ) .
So the promise that some 5 000 000 people will have received their Jabs by end March is looking more like possibly end May or June now??
Dont know what is going to happen with our Cricketers ,as they are due to Fly out to South African soon, and were hopeful to get immunised before going?? With the new strain in South Africa that is apparently a bad one , will they still go???
Its all up in the Air now !
Cheers
So far Australia has been very lucky !! Lets keep it going. Do the right thing Aussies!
However i am so Glad to see this happening n the UK. Great!!
UK gives five in six over 80s first dose of Covid vaccine (msn.com)
