Re: Eyes
Hope to hear from Mike that all is well, i saw my surgeon yesterday, and i am scheduled for my cataract op on the 7th April. Just hope i can get back to driving afterwards. not being able to drive has come at a bad time as i am back and forth to Southampton for my wife knee replacement op next week, after which she cannot drive either, but as they say, worst things happen at sea, kt

Re: Eyes
Initially, I was told not to drive until the post op check and
6 weeks was mentioned. After the op it was recommended
4 weeks.

Re: Eyes
Thanks for that Keith and Chris, i will certainly ask the surgeon. No way would i risk my licence at my age of 79, if i lost my licence i would never get it back. I will be glad when its done now, kt

Re: Eyes
Also, I think not mentioned - are the eye drops to be used
every day for a month after. It is important that any chance
of an eye infection is eliminated.

Re: Eyes
Yes i am back,I have to wait until my check up before i can drive.Thats the 12th March.
I can see fine but the op was not as bad as i thought.
The eye drops (3 off) for 28 days is a pain, moreso as one of them stings everytime my wife does them for me.
Thankyou all for the good wishes.
