    Default The eyes have it

    Hi All.
I am home after having cataract eye surgery, my wife has allowed me a small window to drop a line, all good so far. It was a line job they did 14 ops on the day. Funny thing the porter was from Iran and we had a good talk while I was lying on the bed waiting in the hall next up, nice bloke who said all these isis where nut jobs, the anesthetist was a lovely Iranian girl [no head dress] the surgeon in charge was Indian a very funny little guy, the woman who did the op was South African, funny old world.
    Cheers Des

My first reaction on reading your. Post Des "My wife has allowed me a. Small window to drop a line", was. I wonder if he has put a Turks head in the end. My wife walks around after having one eye done with the lens missing out of one of the frames of her spectacles, I talked her in to doing just That to save on new glasses until she had the other eye done, when she could throw them away. Hope you've got the patch off by now. Cheers JWS.

    Hello Des
Nice to hear of the completed job mate,i to have those and did some research with the help of my Eye Specialist (have other probs besides) and after I told him about what I had found he did his research and next visit I had he agreed to give it a go!
The research I came up with were special Eye Drops that reverse the Cataracts and also help tremendously with Gloucoma.
    They are called Can-C Drops.
I have now been using then for some 3 and a half weeks ,two drops in each eys Morning and Night, believe me mate they are working,as I now can see clearly in the worst Eye,not 100% as yet but no more blurring at all.
They sure are miracle drops, and I have another appointment in three Months ,so will see if things have improved, which I am sure they will be.
Cost of the drops vary with amounts bought i bought three boxes which contain 2 Vials each and one vial lasts two weeks. I have another three coming this week ,so enough for six months.
    I am really pleased!
For you mate I too am happy, and I am sure all will soon be as right as rain!
    Take Care
    Cheers

I wonder if any of you have experienced similar eyes problems which I have in the past few months ?

When I am watching football on T.V. there are twice as many players on the pitch.
When I am driving the white line on the left side of the road appears to bulge outward , the road ahead is unclear.
If I close one eye everything is back in focus including the T.V.

I went for an eye test and a few days later had distance glasses which have not helped , my vision is the same with or without glasses.

When I mentioned this to my doctor he asked if I knew the symptoms of a stroke also I may need a brain scan.

Good luck Des hope you make a quick recovery.

And good luck to you Louis,
I would rather lose both legs than my eyes.

    Louis
After the stroke I had in 2008 the only residual effect is a weakness in my left side but a total loss of my left sided peripheral vision in both eyes. I would hope that your visual problems are not a result of any stroke but get it checked out as it could be that that problem could put you outside of the DVLA driving standards regarding visual fields. Although I have 20/20 vision in each eye my visual fields only cover from right ahead to around 2 points abaft the beam on the stbd. side, which means I am unable to drive.
